Really love this app. It makes leveling up up 1000x easier, and is pretty simple to figure it out. The notes and being able to add/buy inventory is super convenient. The only thing Id really like to see added is the ability to add mount and companion character sheets. I have yet to see an app that lets you and it would make this app perfect if you could.

RPG Scribe is a 3.5 DnD and Pathfinder app that offers you to track, record, and develop custom characters with incredible ease and simplicity with the complexity and freedom of alteration as a Character Sheet itself. In fact, this can best be described as a virtual character sheet with access to its own offline library and behind the scene mathematics (it does all modifier calculations for you, helpful!) along with the freedom to create/add standard and custom items and spells. The only downside, is that it doesnt give you the freedom to add spells from other classes (as some DnD scenarios have special outside of rule book things that the DM grants) unless you actually have that class. It needs a lot of work for spell freedom in that regard and others as well, but it does grant easy to track ways of managing your daily spell casting and preparation and also the list of your characters known spells and feats. The leveling way is fantastic though, very, very easy and simple leveling method that gets it down in no time! This entire app makes character creation and development take only a few short minutes (3-10) instead of 10-30 as usual! If you are looking for a virtual character sheet for 3.5 DnD or Pathfinder, this app is great for newcomers and pro players alike! Just make sure to keep any special character stuff on your actual paper!

This app is great for creating characters on the fly. Its ability to generate random characters (be it toadies or bosses) saved me a ton of time as I was preparing to DM a spur of the moment campaign. Didnt have to worry about ability scores, initiative, AC, etc. It completely generates everything related to the individual character. A big downside to this app is that it is not up-to-date with the most current version of D&D. So the spells, classes, races, etc. that you would expect to find in 5th Ed. D&D are not included. An update would make this app much more useful.

This app saves so much time with character creation! You can pretty much do anything you want with it, though sometimes a little manipulation is required. Make sure you read the description though as this only includes things from the SRD, which is 3/3.5!

If youre looking for a paper alternative character sheet, this is not what you want. While you can track some of what your DnD sheet has on it, its missing a great number of skills, with some none of the people I play with have ever seen or heard of. Beyond that, its darn near impossible to add in all the modifiers and what not that a class or weapon may give you. I never did figure out how to had in the info for my Defenses... Oh, and if you use anything of the Psyonic nature, prepare to drop another $2, on top of the money you already paid for this app. Good thing its only $3 for the app, so I dont feel like I was totally robbed.

But it sure as hell isnt any new version of D&D. At least not one thats still played. Pretty atrocious system in general.

The app is fantastic and the features are great, awesome if you are playing 3.5! Only issue is with the most recent update Psionic pack purchase does not restore :(

Creators are also responsive to help requests. Made gaming easier for my group.

I thought the app was well thought out. The ui didnt get in the way of the information and it is well organized and thought out. Good job!

Great DnD app for keeping track of stats and spells only thing missing maybe is a dice roll option but not enough of a reason to lose a star

This is a great base character sheet maker. The developer is always maintaining the app and they are adding new things on a steady pace.

Oops. Bought this after I searched for 5e, definitely not that but good for pathfinder or 3.5

The best

This app contains all the basic stuff needed to play the game. For quick characters and new players its a life saver. However for more advanced players there are some things missing. This app only cover the basic rule books and nothing more. That being said you can add your own entries which is nice if you have the other data available. Definitely worth the money.

I like the total versatility and fun of the app. It is a campaign tool for certain, but it is such a blast to pump out a bunch of custom character combinations. There are not many apps like this out there short of Wizards of the Coast. I recommend this for anyone looking to dabble or complement the table top experience.

This is really great app and saves a lot of time for new players. I would gladly pay for more in app purchases to add more books as opposed to manually adding them.

Unless you want to go through and customize your skills for each character you make, you cant use this for 5th edition. If an update gets pushed allowing to change character sheets based on edition, is say this app is awesome.

I am new to this app and Ive never played d&d before (and I know this isnt a forum) and I was wondering is this app just a character "planner" or can you play d&d on the app or do u use paper.
